Exclusive: Chelsea Starlet Ola Aina Yet To Obtain Nigerian Passport, FIFA Clearance Exactly one month before the Super Eagles face off against South Africa in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo, Chelsea defender Ola Aina has not been issued a Nigerian passport.

Fifa have not yet approved Aina's onetime international allegiance switch, and the Nigeria Football Federation have promised the former England U19 skipper that his passport will be processed immediately they receive good news from Football's governing body.

''Ola Aina doesn't have a Nigerian passport yet, but this is not an issue for now, '' a Nigeria Football Federation insider told allnigeriasoccer.com.

''When we get his clearance from Fifa, we can process his international passport in twenty four hours.''

Aina and his family friend Alex Iwobi will hop on a plane bound for Paris immediately after the FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea on May 27.

The 20-year-old defender impressed the coaching staff during the Super Eagles get-together in London two months ago.
