Rohr Admits Selection Headache Vs RSA, Rues Absence Of Ex-Chelsea Ace Mikel

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has admitted that he faces a selection headache before the national team's first competitive game of 2017 against South Africa.
Speaking to reporters at Thursday's press conference, the German rued the absence of recuperating trio John Obi Mikel, Leon Balogun and goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, and disclosed that he has yet to name his starting lineup because all the players in camp are fit.
''Without some of our important players in the team, we miss our captain (Mikel Obi) who is injured,” Rohr said.
''We miss our goalkeeper as well. Also too we will miss a very important defender Leon Balogun who is not here, so we have reconstruct the team to beat South Africa, It will not be easy to beat them.
''It is very difficult for me to name my starting eleven from the 24 players in camp because everyone is fit.''
The South African contingent landed in Uyo today, ahead of Saturday's game at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
