Nigeria U23 Skipper Okechukwu Named In Dream Team In Turkey

Nigeria U23 skipper Azubuike Okechukwu has been recognized for his outstanding performance for Yeni Malatyaspor last season, with TRT Spor Canlı naming him in their Team of the Season.
The combative midfielder was involved in 29 matches last term in the First League, and was not selected for five due to national team duties and yellow card suspensions.
Okechukwu took to social media to express his joy, tweeting : ''Feeling very honoured to be named in the Turkish lig 1 team of the year, Thanks to GOD, my team mates and the fans🙏. Can't wait 4 super lig.''
In the Dream Team, the former Bayelsa United star occupied one of the central midfield positions in a 4-4-2 formation.
He is on the radar of Besiktas, Galatasaray S.K , Osmanlispor and Kasimpasa in the summer transfer window.
