Super Eagles Invitee Ebere Eze Trains With Queens Park Rangers In Lagos
Published: July 01, 2017
Former Super Eagles invitee Eberechi Eze has been handed another opportunity to break into the first team of Queens Park Rangers in the new season.
The 19-year-old has been training with QPR's main squad at the Cascade Wellness and Lifestyle Resort in Lagos, Portugal for the past six days.
Manager Ian Holloway has been delighted with the progress of Eze, with the center forward finishing joint second highest goal scorer in the Premier Development League with 13 goals to his name during the 2016-17 campaign.
Eze joined The Hoops in the summer of 2016 after spending his formative years as a footballer with the youth teams of Arsenal, Fulham and Millwall.
He ended speculation about his international future after training with the Super Eagles during their get-together in London in March.
Warri-born ex-England youth-team skipper Nedum Onuoha was in QPR's traveling party to Portugal, while Republic of Ireland U21 winger Olamide Sodipo missed out.
