Yakubu Has Still Got It, Ex-Everton Striker Nets Third Goal As Nigeria Lose To Italy

Nigeria lost 2-1 to Italy in their second match at the ongoing Star Sixes six-a-side indoor football competition on Friday night.
The Italians took the lead in the 19th minute, Alessandro Del Piero was on hand to tap home a rebound after goalkeeper Peter Rufai had parried the ball into his path.
Rufai was beaten again when Italy took advantage of a free-kick and Stefano Fiore fired an unstoppable shot.
Former Everton man Yakubu Aiyegbeni netted his third goal of the tournament when he smashed home a volley at the far post, but time ticked out on the Super Eagles Legends before they could score the equalizer.
Nigeria will wrap up their play in Group B with a mouth-watering clash against Brazil on Saturday, starting from 1300 hours.
