World Cup-Winning Midfielders Of Nigerian Descent Omitted From Liverpool Squad (Full List)
Published: July 16, 2017
Manager Jürgen Klopp has revealed his 25-man roster for Liverpool's Premier League Asia Trophy commitments in Hong Kong.
The German tactician has opted not to include England U20 World Cup-winning midfielders Ovie Ejaria and Sheyi Ojo for the trip to Asia, and this will certainly prompt questions over their future with the Reds.
The list includes 2017 Golden Ball winner Dominic Solanke, who has featured for Liverpool in their two friendlies so far this season.
Ojo, 20, has been linked with a temporary departure from Anfield, with the likes of Newcastle United, Burnley and Middlesbrough monitoring his situation, while Ejaria has not featured for the first team in pre-season.
Milner, Firmino, Coutinho, Salah and Sturridge are among the players that will travel on Sunday.
