Published: July 18, 2017
Arsenal are working on a deal to sign Monaco young sensation Thomas Lemar in the summer transfer window.
According to reports, the Gunners will have to break their own transfer record for a second time in this window to sign the exciting winger, who is valued in the region of ninety million euros including add-ons (N37 billion) by Monaco.
Arsenal have made two bids for Lemar which were rejected by the Principality side, who are not ready to part company with the France international following the sale of Tiémoué Bakayoko and Bernardo Silva to Chelsea and Manchester City respectively.
The Emirates outfit set a new transfer record when they paid Lyon £52 million for the services of Alexandre Lacazette.
Hailed as the new Robert Pires, Lemar is contracted to Monaco until June 30, 2020.
