Chelsea And Manchester United Fighting Again For English-Born Nigerian Star Valued At N23.5B
Published: July 19, 2017
Chelsea and Manchester United have not thrown in the towel regarding their pursuit of England international of Nigerian descent Ross Barkley.
The Daily Mail is reporting that both teams are monitoring Ross Barkley's position at Everton and there could be a scramble for his signature in the final few weeks of the summer transfer window.
Barkley has been linked with all the big teams in the Premier League because he is an academy trained player.
The 23-year-old is currently valued at fifty million pounds (approximately N23.5 billion) by Everton, but the Toffees have not received any offers from his suitors, including Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
The attacking midfielder has contractual obligations with Everton until the end of the 2017-18 season, and is refusing to sign a new deal.
