Conte Gives Hint Of Starting XI Vs Arsenal: How Chelsea Team A & B Lined Up At Training
Published: July 20, 2017
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has given a hint of his starting line-up for Saturday afternoon's friendly against Arsenal at the Beijing National Stadium.
The Blues held two training sessions on Thursday as they continued preparations for their first pre-season match.
Chelsea expert CarefreeYouth has informed allnigeriasoccer.com that Conte divided the squad into two groups of eleven players each, with the team wearing bibs the likely players that will start against the Gunners.
In a 3-4-3 formation, Thibaut Courtois started in goal for the Bib Team, César Azpilicueta, Christensen and Cahill were the defenders, Moses, Fabregas, Kante and Alonso were deployed in midfield, while Batshuayi led the frontline flanked by Pedro and Willian.
As for the non-bibs wearing team, Eduardo was in between the pipes, the three-man central defenders were Kalas, Luiz and Clarke-Salter, Tomori, Pasalic, Scott and Kenedy played in midfield, while Remy led the attack and he was supported by Boga and Baker.
Last season, the two London rivals met three times, including the Emirates FA Cup final, and Arsenal lost once in a Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on February 4, 2017.
