Soap Opera Continues : Ex-Man Utd Star Pique Proclaims Neymar Will Stay At Barcelona
Published: July 24, 2017
Former Manchester United defender Gerard Pique has proclaimed that Barcelona teammate Neymar will remain at the Camp Nou at the end of the transfer window.
In what promises to be one of the soap operas of the summer transfer window, there are suggestions that Ligue 1 moneybags Paris Saint-Germain are confident of wrapping up a deal for the Brazil international in the coming days.
But Pique has disputed those claims after he took to social media to announce that Neymar is not planning on swapping Barcelona for PSG.
He tweeted, with an accompanying photo of himself and Neymar : ''He stays''.
Neymar bagged a brace in Barcelona's latest friendly against Juventus (2-1) in the United States.
