Man Utd-Bound Chelsea Ace Racked Up More Assists Than Pogba, Rashford, Mata Last Season
Published: July 31, 2017
Serbia international Nemanja Matić is on the verge of completing his transfer to Manchester United, where he will be reunited with his former coach at Chelsea Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils have been on the trail of the central midfielder all summer and a deal is now imminent, with the player already undergoing a medical at Carrington training ground and pictured in a United kit.
The online edition of the Mirror is reporting that Mourinho made a move for Matic because he will bring more creativity to the team.
The 28-year-old Serbian provided seven assists in the Premier League last term, more than Manchester United's Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United have agreed a transfer fee, thought to be in the region of forty million pounds, with Chelsea for the signing of Nemanja Matić.
