Versatile Nigeria international Victor Moses, England U20 star of Nigerian descent Fikayo Tomori and other Chelsea first-teamers will no longer resume training at Cobham on Tuesday, August 1.
Ahead of the Community Shield against Arsenal on Sunday, manager Antonio Conte has given the team one more extra day off, according to Chelsea TV.
CarefreeYouth tweeted : ''It looks like the first team players have got a extra day off, back in for training on Wednesday say #ChelseaTV #CFC.''
Moses started all the four matches contested by Chelsea in pre-season, against Fulham, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, while Tomori came off the bench in those games.
In their final warm up game before facing Chelsea, Arsenal lost 2-1 to Sevilla on Sunday but still won the Emirates Cup by virtue of their superior goal difference.
