Liverpool have rejected a second bid of 100m euros from Barcelona for the services of Brazil international Philippe Coutinho.
Radio Monte Carlo claims the Reds are expected to sell their star player before the close of the transfer window, but at an inflated price, with Barcelona expected to pocket 222 million euros if Neymar eventually joins Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcelona's first offer of 80 million euros was rejected, with manager Jurgen Klopp stating that Coutinho is not for sale.
The 25-year-old penned a contract extension with Liverpool in January, tying him to the club until June 30, 2022.
The Vasco da Gama product joined Liverpool in 2013 from Inter Milan .
Coutinho will become the most expensive player in Barcelona's history if he is sold for more than €85 million, the transfer fees the club paid for Neymar.
