Man City's Nwakali To See Out Contract With Sogndal, Returns To Norway
Published: August 01, 2017
Strange reports that Nigeria youth-teamer Chidiebere Nwakali will not be returning to Norway for the remainder of the 2017 season are incorrect, allnigeriasoccer.com can report.
Three weeks ago, Tippeligaen club Sogndal Fotball announced they have reached an agreement with Manchester City over the extension of the loan deal, which would have expired before the close of the summer transfer window.
Chidiebere Nwakali ended speculation about his future after he resumed training with Sogndal late last month.
The former Golden Eaglets star briefly returned to Nigeria last month because the Norwegian League was on break, amid suggestions that he has bid farewell to Sogndal.
He was named in the starting line-up for Sunday's friendly between Sogndal and Stabæk.
