England international of Nigerian parentage Ross Barkley has resumed training with Premier League club Everton, ahead of a crucial Europa League qualifier against Hajduk Split at Goodison Park.
Barkley's future at the Toffees remains in the air and the midfielder has been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
The 23-year-old missed Everton's Premier League opener against Stoke City because he had not sufficiently recovered from a groin injury, and it remains to be seen if he is named in the squad to face Hajduk Split on Thursday.
Barkley has refused to pen a new long-term contract with Everton, with his current agreement set to run out next June.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in pole position for his signature if he departs Everton.
