Chelsea Wing-Back Reacts As Premier League Champions Set New Record
Published: August 20, 2017
Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses was delighted after the Premier League champions' hard fought 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the National Stadium in London on Sunday evening.
The Nigeria international helped the Blues secure the three points in his first appearance in the English top-flight this term.
Moses was part of the history making Chelsea squad, who became the first team to beat Spurs at White Hart Lane and their new home ground Wembley since the formation of the Premier League.
Moses posted on social media : ''Massive win today! Great way to bounce back. Thanks for the brilliant support from our fans #CFC''.
Antonio Conte's side had their backs against the wall for a large chunk of the game, but won their first match in the league courtesy of Marcos Alonso's 88th minute strike.
