Rohr Has Full Goalkeeping Contingent As Alampasu Hits Super Eagles Camp
Published: August 28, 2017
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will have all the invited goalkeepers at his disposal when the national team begin preparations for the World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that CD Feirense number one Dele Alampasu has already reported for international duty and he is joined by Chippa United's Daniel Akpeyi and home-based Super Eagles captain Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
Alampasu, accompanied by club teammate Oghenekaro Etebo, arrived in the country on Sunday, a day after they were named in the 18-man squad for Feirense's league game with Chaves.
This time around, the former Golden Eaglets star is not in camp to make up the numbers, with uncertainty surrounding the fitness of Rohr's first-choice keeper Akpeyi.
Dele Alampasu has yet to debut for the senior national team.
