Leicester City stars Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi have flown to Uyo to link up with the national team.
Thus, at least half of the players summoned for the World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon are already in the country.
The whereabouts of Mikel Obi, Mikel Agu, William Troost-Ekong, Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Odion Ighalo, Oghenekaro Etebo, Dele Alampasu, Eddy Onazi and Elderson Echiejile are known.
Kelechi Iheanacho's father James Iheanacho has insisted that the Leicester City number eight will report for international duty, amid speculation that he is struggling to overcome a toe injury and may miss the game.
''Kelechi is coming for the match, hopefully this night he will join the team,'' James Iheanacho briefly told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Super Eagles are expected to hold their first training session on Tuesday as their flight from Abuja to Uyo was delayed.
