Ola Aina Cracks Up Mikel, Ndidi, Ighalo At Super Eagles Initiation Ceremony
Published: August 30, 2017
The highly-rated Chelsea loanee Ola Aina was initiated into the Super Eagles on Tuesday evening as the squad was having dinner in the Le Méridien Hotel restaurant.
The former England U19 skipper first trained with the national team in March, but this is the first time he has been handed a call-up for a competitive fixture.
The video uploaded by Hapoel Beer Sheva's John Ogu was not audible to independently rate Aina's performance at his initiation, but his teammates showed their approval by clapping for him before and after he performed his song.
Team captain Obi Mikel, Odion Ighalo and Wilfred Ndidi cracked up laughing as the ever-smiling Aina was doing his thing.
Hapoel Beer Sheva striker Anthony Nwakaeme and Akwa United's Ifeanyi Ifeanyi were the other players initiated into the Super Eagles yesterday after their first training session.
