Hugo Broos: Victor Moses' Goal Demoralized The Cameroon Team
Published: September 02, 2017
Cameroon coach Hugo Broos has admitted that Victor Moses's goal ten minutes into the second half demoralized his team and they were forced to throw in the towel early.
Nigeria beat the African champions 4-0 in Uyo on Friday and might become one of the first countries to qualify for the World Cup if they repeat the same feat in two days time and results go their way.
''We started the second half and after 15 minutes we conceded the third goal, we were not a team anymore, everyone was down,'' Rohr told the national press, including allnigeriasoccer.com.
''We did not have the power anymore to fight and therefore we didn't have any chances, even we didn't play a good attack.''
Nigeria and Cameroon have both qualified for five of the last six World Cups, missing out on the 2006 tournament in Germany.
