Super Eagles Hold Recovery Session Ahead Of Sunday's Trip To CameroonThe Super Eagles continued their preparations for the return leg of their World Cup qualifier against African champions Cameroon on Saturday morning, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

Manager Gernot Rohr was aware that there were tough training sessions prior to Friday's game, so a recovery session was his main focus.

Former Watford star Odion Ighalo, who suffered a minor hamstring injury that forced him out of Friday evening's game, was excused from the session in order not to aggravate his injury.

Super Eagles players and officials will depart the Akwa Ibom State capital for Yaoundé via charter flight on Sunday, September 3 and return to Abuja at the early hours of Tuesday, September 5.

Nigeria will qualify for the 2018 World Cup if they beat Cameroon on Monday, and Zambia fail to collect maximum points against Algeria on match day four.
