'Nigerian Ronaldo' : We Want To Qualify For The World Cup ASAP
Published: September 04, 2017
Moses Simon is confident Nigeria will ‘leave with victory’ when they play Cameroun in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Monday.
The Gent winger is tipped to start for the three-time African champions in Yaounde in the Group B match.
Nigeria tamed Cameroon 4-0 last Friday to maintain their flawless run of three matches in the Pool that also comprises of Algeria and Zambia.
The 'Nigerian Ronaldo' says the memories of that glorious victory is still fresh in the players' minds.
“It makes us very happy remembering a great moment, something unforgettable,” he told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“There are loads of memories from the game – the image of the tunnel before going out, the moment of the anthems, the goals and the way we played.
“But we want to play a good game against Cameroon, leave with the victory and qualify for the World Cup as early as possible.”
