Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that former Watford star Odion Ighalo has been named in the starting eleven for Monday evening's World Cup qualifying match against Cameroon in Yaounde.
Nigeria medics and manager Gernot Rohr had been sweating on the fitness of Ighalo after he picked up a minor hamstring injury in Uyo three days ago, but the the in-form Changchun Yatai frontman passed a fitness test this morning.
The German manager earlier stated that he does not plan to change the starting line-up that did so well at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, meaning the likes of Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Moses and Obi Mikel are set to start today's game.
The match kicks off at 1800 hours at Stade Omnisport Ahmadou Ahidjo (Yaoundé).
