Super Eagles invitee Ola Aina is in the running to be named Hull City's Player of the Month for August 2017.
The Chelsea loanee has been nominated for the accolade along with Polish winger Kamil Grosicki, striker Jarrod Bowen and Chelsea product Michael Hector.
Last month, Aina started and completed every single game contested by the Tigers in the Championship, five in total, logging 450 minutes, and notched an assist in the 4-1 rout of Burton Albion on August 12.
The 20-year-old right back was among the nine non-playing substitutes in the Super Eagles 1-1 draw with Cameroon in a World Cup qualifier staged at Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium, Yaoundé on Monday evening.
Aina, who is a former England youth international, is spending the whole of this season at Hull City to boost his chances of first-team football.
According to the statisticians at WhoScored.com, Ola Aina has made 12 interceptions and successfully completed 17 of his attempted 21 tackles so far this season.
