Roma Nigerian Right Back Nura In Line To Face Chelsea In Champions League AS Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco has included the promising Nigerian right back Nura Abdullahi in his 23-man Champions League squad-list submitted to UEFA following the conclusion of the summer transfer window.

The Football College Abuja product has yet to make his debut for the Italian club but was an unused substitute in the opening round of the Serie A against Atalanta.

Abdullahi, who suffered the injury whilst training with the first team on August 22, is in contention to travel with Roma's first team to the English capital on October 17 for the match day three fixture against Chelsea, if he does not suffer a relapse.

Other Nigerians that were named in their respective teams group stage squads include Victor Moses (Chelsea), Emmanuel Emenike (Olympiakos), Henry Onyekuru (RSC Anderlecht) and Aaron Samuel (CSKA Moscow).

Switzerland international Manuel Akanji of FC Basel and Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria can represent their teams in the Champions League.
