England U20 World Cup Winning Defender : Aina Advised Me To Join Hull City
Published: September 06, 2017
England U20 World Cup-winning central defender Fikayo Tomori has revealed that Super Eagles invitee Ola Aina convinced him to join Hull City on transfer deadline day.
Chelsea have loaned out three defenders in the shape of Ola Aina, Fikayo Tomori and Michael Hector to the Tigers for the entirety of the 2017-2018 season, and Tomori admitted that he had a chat with his Blues colleagues before agreeing a deal with the Championship outfit.
''I spoke to both of them before coming here and it's good to have some familiar faces here already," Tomori told Hull City's official website.
"It was a factor in me coming here. To be fair, Ola has been on at me to come up here ever since he made the move!
"I'm pleased to be here now. Obviously I was away with England when I signed, so the excitement has been building for a few days and I'm looking forward to getting started."
