Annual Salary Of Nigerian Stars Joel Obi, Sadiq Umar At Torino Revealed

Nigeria international Joel Obi and Dream Team VI striker Sadiq Umar are among the least paid players at Italian Serie A club Torino though they are members of the first team.
According to calciomercato.com making reference to Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Obi's annual salary is 500,000 euros (equivalent of N212.5 million), while Sadiq pockets €350,000 (N148.8 million) every year.
Highly-coveted striker Andrea Belotti, former France U21 international M'Baye Niang and Italy goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu are the highest earning players at Torino, with annual wages of 1.5 million euros net each.
Joel Obi's name is fourteenth on the list of best paid players at the Turin based club while Sadiq is 20th or to put it another way the Football College Abuja product earns more than six players in the first team.
The former Inter Milan wonder kid earns €7.5 million less than the highest paid player in the Italian top-flight, AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci, whose salary is €8 million per season, not taking into account his bonuses.
Joel Obi is contracted to Torino until the summer of 2019, he has contributed to three goals (2 goals, 1 assist) in three games across all competitions this season.
