Son Of Ex-Zambia International To Challenge Moses For Chelsea Wing Back Spot
Published: September 19, 2017
Musonda is predominantly a left and right winger at club level, same position Moses played before he was converted into a wing-back by the Italian manager a year ago.
Conte told reporters at Tuesday afternoon's press conference that a spot at wing-back is a possibility for the Belgium U21 international.
''In my mind he could play number 10. He could play winger. Also in the future he could play as a wingback,'' Conte said.
''I’m sure that we are talking about a young player with a really good prospect because Charly, you can see very clearly his talent.
''I think now it is very important for him to adapt himself to this league because this league is not simple, it is a physical league.
''Now he is working a lot to improve his strength and be ready for a big impact.''
Moses is currently the first choice right wing-back at Chelsea, ahead of Davide Zappacosta, while Marcos Alonso is Conte's preferred choice at left wing-back.
