Super Eagles Coach : Nothing To Worry About Against Benin Republic
Published: September 21, 2017
At Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday, September 21, Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf says they have nothing to worry about.
Defensively Nigeria have been impenetrable and have not conceded a single goal in four games en-route to the semifinals.
However, despite finding the back of the net twice in their last group match after beating Ghana 2-0 on Monday, September 18, Yusuf admits that goal scoring is something they need to improve.
''Working on the goal scoring technique with the boys and we hope it continues. Besides from our goal scoring problems, defensively we are perfect,'' said Salisu Yusuf.
''In all our games we have not conceded a single goal. We are not scoring but we are not conceding. Benin are a good team and they have done well''.
Nigeria will take on Benin in the semifinals of the WAFU Cup on Thursday, September 21 at Cape Coast Sports Stadium with kick-off set for 15h00 (GMT).
