Published: September 22, 2017
With a statement on their official webpage, Iranian Pro League outfit Paykan FC have announced the signing of Nigeria international Ezekiel Bassey.
The financial terms and length of contract signed by the 21-year-old striker have not been disclosed by The Car Makers.
At the end of the 2016-2017 campaign, Ezekiel had to return to his employer Enyimba after Barcelona passed up the opportunity to sign him on a permanent basis.
The attacker failed to make a single appearance for the B Team of the Spanish club because the work permit process was delayed and there were concerns about his fitness.
After six matches in the Pro League, Paykan FC sit seventh on the table with eight points accumulated.
