Leicester City Coach Gives Rohr Positive News On Iheanacho's Fitness

Leicester City coach Craig Shakespeare has provided a positive update on the fitness of Kelechi Iheanacho ahead of Nigeria's World Cup qualifier against Zambia in about two weeks time.
The Foxes number eight has started only one game this season for club and country, last weekend's 1-1 draw at Huddersfield Town, due to a toe injury he suffered in a pre-season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the Premier League clash against Liverpool, Shakespeare stated : ''We’ve got some of the other players back.
''We saw Vicente Iborra on Tuesday night, who managed to play the 90 minutes and he’ll benefit from that.
''Kelechi Iheanacho is looking a lot fitter after 48 hours in terms of where he was and getting his conditioning right. We’re slowly getting to a fully-competitive squad.''
Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr is expected to name Kelechi Iheanacho in his roster for October's World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
