Ehizibue Scores First Goal After Extending Contract As Nwakali Makes Home DebutArsenal loanee Kelechi Nwakali has made his home debut for Dutch Eredivisie club VVV Venlo and it came against Kingsley Ehizibue's PEC Zwolle at Seacon Stadion De Koel (Venlo) on Sunday afternoon.

The Nigeria U20 international entered into the fray in the 74th minute against PEC Zwolle .

Former Netherlands U21 international Ehizibue stole the limelight from Nwakali when he blasted home from inside the area to open the scoring on the half-hour mark, but the home team got a share of the spoils thanks to Clint Leemans's 69th minute effort.

Ehizibue, who is being monitored by the Nigeria Football Federation, penned a fresh three-year deal with PEC Zwolle on September 2, which keeps him at the club until the end of the 2019-2020 season.

Nwakali's three appearances before today's meeting with PEC Zwolle were away matches against Blauw Geel '38, Vitesse and Groningen.

VVV Venlo, with nine points, occupy the eighth position in the Eredivisie standings, while PEC Zwolle are sixth.
