Eyoma Emulates Chelsea Duo Moses & Ugbo, Named In England U17 World Cup Roster

Timothy Eyoma is set to become the fourth player of Nigerian descent to feature for England at the Fifa U17 World Cup, with manager Steve Cooper including the Tottenham Hotspur starlet in a 21-player roster for the tournament in India.
Barring injury, Eyoma is set to add to his international caps at this level when the competition begins on October 6, as he was the first-choice right-back at the 2017 European Under-17 Championship, and was an unused substitute in the final against Spain due to injury.
Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses became the first player of Nigerian descent to feature for the Young Lions at the Fifa U17 World Cup when he started as England were held to a 1-1 draw by North Korea on August 18, 2007, and Chelsea product Tom Taiwo also featured during the competition.
The Super Eagle registered his name on the score-sheet in matches against New Zealand and North Korea, and finished the tournament with three goals.
Talented Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo, who has been loaned out to Barnsley this season, recorded three appearances for the Young Lions at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup in Chile.
England will face Chile, Mexico and Iraq in the group stage of the 2017 Fifa U17 World Cup in India, which runs from October 6-28.
