Two players of Nigerian descent have received call-ups to England's youth teams, ahead of international fixtures in October.
The English Football Association announced on Thursday morning that Fulham midfielder Adetayo Edun has been named in the Young Lions U20 squad for their upcoming games against Italy and Czech Republic.
Manager Keith Downing's team face Italy at the Municipal Stadium of Gorgonzola on October 5, before returning to England for a game against the Czechs at St. George's Park on October 10.
Edun made his debut for England U20s in their 3-0 win over the Netherlands back in August and earned his second cap against Switzerland U20s during the first international break of this season.
Everton new signing Dennis Adeniran has also been called up for international duty, with manager Paul Simpson naming him in the U19 squad for the double header against Czech Republic (October 6) and Slovakia (October 9).
The former Fulham starlet previously represent England's U17 and U18 teams.
