Henry Onyekuru continued his remarkable start to his career at Anderlecht by netting a brace for the current champions in their 4-3 road win over KV Mechelen in the Belgian First Division A on Friday night.
The Everton loanee's two first-half goals within seven minutes of each other took his tally for the season to seven goals from thirteen matches in all competitions for the Purple & White.
On the half-hour mark, Onyekuru beat the offside trap before slicing his shot past goalkeeper Coosemans , and restored the visitors two-goal advantage after Schoofs had reduced the deficit.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, scouts representing Manchester United and Manchester City were among the 16,715 spectators at the AFAS-stadion Achter de Kazerne tonight.
It has been reported that the Red Devils scouts came to run the rule over the versatile midfielder Leander Dendoncker, but they would have been impressed with the brilliant performance of his Nigerian teammate.
Borussia Mönchengladbach, Leverkusen, Marseille, Stade Rennais, Atlético Madrid, Heerenveen and AZ also sent scouts to Belgium to watch the top stars on both teams.
