Two-Goal Hero Ighalo Refuses To Set Target, Says He's Ready To Face AlgeriaFormer Watford star Odion Ighalo tallied his thirteenth and fourteenth goals of the season as Changchun Yatai recorded an impressive 3-2 road win over Guizhou Zhicheng in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.

Changchun Yatai's ninth win of the season was achieved in difficult circumstances as they played the last 16 minutes with a man down after goalkeeper Yi Fan was sent off by referee Lin Jun.

For the remaining three games of the season, Ighalo has refused to set a goals target, and told allnigeriasoccer.com :''I don't set targets, I just keep going, playing to help my team win games.

''It was the determination and fighting spirit that kept the team going despite the numerical disadvantage, we even scored with a man down''.

Ighalo was asked to comment on suggestions that the Chinese-based Super Eagles stars, himself and captain Obi Mikel, will be rested for a dead-rubber World Cup qualifier with Algeria next month because of the flight distance.

The number nine for club and country replied : ''Well, I haven't heard anything about that for now, though it is true about the distance but I am always ready to honour my country whenever I am called up but will talk to the coach about what you just said''.

The 28-year-old Ighalo has represented Nigeria in a Fifa tournament before when he captained the Flying Eagles at the 2009 U20 World Cup and will be hoping to be on the plane to Russia next summer for the big one.
