Ranking : Fifa Confirms ANS Report As Super Eagles Still Fifth Best In Africa

Football governing body, Fifa, on Monday morning published its latest ranking of National Teams, and confirmed that the Super Eagles are still the fifth best team in Africa, as first reported by allnigeriasoccer.com.
Compared to their position the previous month, the Super Eagles have climbed three places, and now occupy the 41st position.
Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal, Congo DR and Nigeria are the top five teams in Africa in that order.
Our rivals to book a ticket to the next African Nations Cup - South Africa, Libya and Seychelles - are placed 74th, 87th and 188th in the global ranking.
Germany, Brazil and Portugal are the top three teams in the world, followed by Argentina and Belgium.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 23 November 2017.
