Allwell Nwakali has quickly reacted to speculation in the local media that suggested that Manchester City loanee Chidiebere Nwakali might earn his maiden call-up to the national team for the World Cup qualifier against Algeria next month.
The representative and elder brother of Kelechi and Chidebere Nwakali made it crystal clear that the two players have not had any contact whatsoever with Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr, adding that the top echelons of the Nigeria Football Federation are aware of the players' pedigree.
''I don't think it's right for me to start lobbying for my brothers to be called up, their games will speak for them,'' said Allwell Nwakali to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''If the national team coach knows what he's doing, I think he's supposed to invite them for the World Cup qualifiers.
''All the top men in the Nigerian Federation are aware of them. We are still waiting to hear from Rohr''.
Arsenal loanee Kelechi Nwakali and Manchester City loanee Chidiebere were important members of Nigeria's U17 and U20 national teams.
