Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund Tracking Chelsea Midfielder Dubbed The New Eden Hazard
Published: October 22, 2017
Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are monitoring the performance of Chelsea wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi at the ongoing 2017 Fifa U17 World Cup, with a view to a transfer in future.
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed the Spanish and German clubs have been watching the English-born Ghanaian attacking midfielder right from the very beginning of the tournament in India.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has been involved in every single game for the Young Lions in India, and scored in the 4-0 rout of Chile in the group stage.
The 16-year-old has yet to make his competitive debut for Chelsea but has trained with the first-teamers to prepare him for a possible debut in the future.
When interviewed by FIFA.com, Callum Hudson-Odoi cited Eden Hazard as his role model, stating : ''Eden Hazard [is my hero] because his style of play is a lot like mine. He’s my inspiration.
''I've trained quite a few times with the seniors, which is a real help and a source of motivation when it comes to what to aim for on a regular basis.''
