Revealed : Arsenal New Star Of Ghanaian Descent To Earn N1.8B In New Deal
Published: October 29, 2017
Arsenal are planning to offer a new contract to England U19 international of Ghanaian descent Eddie Nketiah, according to reports.
If the striker signs on the dotted line, he will get a six hundred and fifty percent pay hike, the Sun is reporting.
The new contract Nketiah is expected to sign will be for five years, and under the the new terms he will earn 15,000 pounds every week (approximately N1.8 billion over the duration of the contract).
The former Chelsea schoolboy currently pockets £2,000-a-week, and Arsenal are desperate to tie him down to a new long-term deal as the present agreement between club and player runs out at the end of this season.
Eddie Nketiah impressed manager Arsene Wenger while training with the first team in pre-season, and has been talk of the town after netting a brace off the bench in the League Cup clash against Norwich City this past week.
Negotiations for a new contract will begin in November 2017.
