Ex-Golden Eaglet Francis Uzoho Ruled Out Of Deportivo vs Las Palmas On MondayEx-Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will not make his third appearance in the Spanish top-flight when Deportivo La Coruña face Las Palmas on Monday, October 30.

Uzoho played for the second team of Deportivo La Coruña against Guijuelo on Sunday evening, and is not in the first-team's traveling party to the Canary Islands.

New Deportivo coach Cristóbal has opted to name Poland international Przemysław Tytoń and Watford loanee Costel Pantilimon ahead of the young Nigerian goalkeeper.

The handwriting was on the wall that Uzoho's days in the first team were numbered after he was left out of the 18-man squad for the Copa del Rey game against Las Palmas on Thursday.

An injury to Rubén Martínez forced former manager Pepe Mel to hand the 19-year-old Nigerian a debut against Eibar two weeks ago and he was retained in the 2-1 loss to Girona.

He posted a shutout, his fourth in five games in the third tier, as Deportivo La Coruña II were held to a goalless draw by Guijuelo.
