Nigerian Exports: Obasi & Ifeanyi Score; Udoji Creates; Igboun Goes 90; Fatai Benched; Mbakogu Injured

How Nigerian players fared in matches across Europe on Monday, October 30.

Jerry Mbakogu is currently on the sidelines due to injury, so was missing from Carpi's line-up in an Italian Serie B clash against Ternana at Stadio Libero Liberati. This season, the striker has suited up 12 times in all competitions and has scored 5 goals.

In the Spanish top-flight, new Super Eagles invitee Francis Uzoho was not in Deportivo La Coruna's 18 against Las Palmas, having played for the reserve team on Sunday.  His team won 3-1.

Over to the Norwegian Premier League. Lillestrom hammered Aalesund 4-0 with five Nigerian making the Canaries match day squad at åråsen Stadion (Kjeller).

Ex-Flying Eagles star Ifeanyi Matthew, Charles Chinedu Ezeh and Chigozie Udoji started for LSK; Marco Tagbajumi came off the bench to replace the former Bulgaria youth-teamer in the 76th minute; Moses Ebiye was an unused substitute.

Udoji provided the assist for Lillestrom's first goal in the 24th minute and Matthew netted his fourth goal of the season in the 77th minute.

In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Kennedy Igboananike started and was involved for 82 minutes as Orebro were beaten 2-0 by Norrköping at östgötaporten. Teammate Michael Omoh played the last 27 minutes for the away team.

Still in Sweden, 2010 World Cup star Chinedu Obasi struck in the 8th minute as AIK defeated IFK Göteborg 2-1 at Friends Arena (Solna), taking his tally to 4 goals from 8 games in the process. He was substituted after 76 minutes.

In the Russian Premier League, Sylvester Igboun put in a full shift in Ufa's 2-1 win over Rubin Kazan at  Stadion Neftyanik. Ex-Flying Eagles star Kehinde Fatai was an unused substitute for Ufa.
