Ex-Zenit St. Petersburg Star To Referee Argentina-Nigeria, Assisted By Russian Officials

The organizers of the Argentina-Nigeria international match have confirmed that a Russian team of arbitrators will officiate the meeting between the two continental powerhouses on November 14.
The Russian Football Union writes on its official website that Vladislav Bezborodov will take charge of the friendly and he will be assisted by compatriots Valery Danchenko and Maxim Gavrilin, while the reserve referee is Kirill Levnikov.
Vladislav Bezborodov was a professional football player before he became a football referee, and represented Zenit St. Petersburg, Dynamo St. Petersburg, Dinamo Minsk, Ventspils, Shakhtyor Soligorsk and Torpedo-MAZ Minsk.
The former striker has given out 50 yellow cards and one red card in the 12 matches he has handled this season, and awarded two penalties.
Bezborodov officiated the Europa League matches between Atalanta-Everton and PFK Ludogorets-Braga, and refereed the Russian Super Cup final between Spartak and Lokomotiv Moscow on July 14, 2017.
The 44-year-old refereed the 2018 World Cup qualifiers between Armenia-Romania, Switzerland-Latvia, Kazakhstan-Denmark and Estonia-Bosnia.
