A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective
clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, November 4.
Nigerian players with dual nationalities that have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.
In the early kickoff, Leicester City shared the spoils with Stoke City (2-2) at the Bet365 Stadium, with Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi featuring for the former champions.
The Nigeria midfielder put in a full shift and created a goal on the hour mark, the Foxes number eight was in action for 32 minutes and Ahmed Musa was not in the 18.
Over to St James Park, AFC Bournemouth pushed late on and were rewarded with a stoppage time goal from Steve Cook as they claimed a 1-0 win over Newcastle United. Former England U21 star Jordon Ibe started and played for 76 minutes for the Cherries.
At the Liberty Stadium in Wales, Tammy Abraham could not celebrate his England call-up with a goal against Brighton & Hove.
The Chelsea loanee, who put in a full shift for the Swans, came close to netting his sixth of the season in the 52nd minute. A 29th minute strike from Glenn Murray secured a win for the away team.
In the late kickoff, for the eleventh time this season ex-Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria has not been named in Liverpool's match day squad against West Ham United at the London Stadium.
