Only One Eagle Expected As Mikel, Uzoho Report For International Duty
Published: November 08, 2017
Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has reported for international duty ahead of the national team's upcoming games against Algeria and Argentina.
Scorenigeria.com.ng has also informed that the young Deportivo de La Coruña goalkeeper Francis Uzoho showed up at the Golden Tulip Hotel Farah Rabat on Tuesday evening.
Thus, the only player named on the roster still being expected is Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi, who couldn't travel from Lagos to Rabat on Tuesday due to a flight hitch.
''We have had relaxed but competitive training,''Super Eagles media officer Toyin Ibitoye said.
''There is quality in every area of the team and that means a pleasant headache for the coaches to choose the starting XI.''
The Super Eagles will have two training sessions on Wednesday, November 8, they trained for one hour and few minutes yesterday.
