New Iniesta Receives Big Offer From Russian Premier League Club
Published: December 19, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that CS Sfaxien attacking midfielder Kingsley Sokari is attracting interest from foreign clubs ahead of the opening of the January transfer window.
Sokari, who has been labelled the New Iniesta in his homeland, and his Tunisian intermediary Mahmoud Ouaddeni are understood to have received a 'big offer' from an unnamed Russian Premier League club.
The former Enyimba star has caught the eye of overseas clubs with his performances for CS Sfaxien in the ongoing season, and was named the club's player of the month for November 2017.
Sokari penned a three-and-a-half-contract with CS Sfaxien in December 2015, tying him to the club until the end of the 2018-2019 season.
The 22-year-old has made remarkable progress in his career in the last few seasons, five years ago he was playing for non-league team Port Harcourt City Academy.
Nigeria internationals Sylvester Igboun, Aaron Samuel, Fegor Ogude and Brian Idowu represent Russian Premier League clubs.
