Super Eagles Most Lethal Striker Takes Season Tally To 12

Super Eagles striker, Anthony Nwakaeme was on song for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in their 2-0 win over Maccabi Haifa in an Israeli Premier League encounter at the Yaakov Turner Toto stadium on Monday evening.
Allyson Santos's own goal had set things rolling for the Camels ten minutes in and it had stayed that way deep into the second period of the game before Nwakaeme made sure of the points with a strike of his own.
The 28-year old struck in with just a minute left of the regulation time to consign their visitors to their seventh league loss of the league season.
The goal was his sixth in twelve outings this campaign for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the Premier League who sit top of the topflight division table on 33 points from 15 outings.
If Cup competitions and European games, that is Champions League and Europa League, are included in the mix, Nwakaeme is the most lethal striker in the Super Eagles pool this season, with 12 goals to his name, ahead of Anderlecht's Henry Onyekuru who has 10 goals in more matches.
Barak Bakhar's side are next in action on Sunday 31st December against Hapoel Ashkelon in another domestic engagement.
