Croatia manager Zlatko Dalić has revealed that scouts representing their national team will be present at the Municipal Stadium in Wrocław when Nigeria face Poland in a pre-World Cup friendly on March 23.
The likes of Chelsea's Victor Moses and Ola Aina, Arsenal's Alex Iwobi and goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa are in line to be called-up for the friendly in three months time.
The Croatians battle Nigeria in their opening game of the 2018 World Cup and it is becoming more clear that they want to beat the Super Eagles before their second match in the group vs Argentina.
The Croatian Football Federation are planning to hire a coach from Rijeka, who has close links with Football College Abuja, to monitor the players in the Nigeria Professional Football League ahead of the World Cup.
Asked if he has knowledge of Argentina, Nigeria and Iceland, Dalic told Sportske Novosti: ''We'll follow everything, especially Nigeria. They play March 23 in Poland, some of the scouts will go and watch them.
''In Nigeria there are many Croatians working, especially from Rijeka, we will have to hire someone to watch the local league. I'll have all the information in time.''
Croatia and Nigeria trade tackles at Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad on June 16, 2018.
