Promising American-born Nigerian defender Matthew Olosunde trained with Manchester United's first-team at Aon Training Complex on Thursday morning ahead of their next Premier League match against Southampton.
The United States youth international and five other talented young stars in the shape of Callum Gribbin, RoShaun Williams, Angel Gomes, Demetri Mitchell and Joshua Bohui were put through their paces under the supervision of Jose Mourinho.
Last season, Olosunde traveled with Manchester United's first team for Premier League games against Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal but didn't make the match day squad.
He also trained with Manchester United stars ahead of their Europa League semifinal second leg clash against Celta Vigo at Old Trafford in May.
Should the right back make his competitive debut in the forthcoming season, he will become the first player of Nigerian descent to represent the Red Devils first team in the past 28 years.
This season, Olosunde has made only six appearances for United's U23 team in the Premier League 2 due to a serious injury he suffered against Derby County in September.
The 19-year-old renewed his contract with Manchester United in the off season.
