Watford Coach Explains Why Nigerian Striker Is Starting Vs Swansea City
Published: December 30, 2017
Watford boss Marco Silva has explained why Nigerian striker Stefano
Okaka has been handed a start in Saturday's Premier League clash against
Swansea City at Vicarage Road.
Prior to today's match against the Swans, Okaka had not made the Hornets starting line-up since the opening round of the Premier League when he lasted 63 minutes against Liverpool.
''Okaka did well in the last match and now he starts. Today's not the first time we have faced a new coach,'' Silva was quoted as saying by Watford's official Twitter page.
''We prepare the game with respect and we must keep focused in our work.''
Whilst Okaka is back in the good books of Marco Silva, the same can't be said of Isaac Success as the Super Eagles striker has been left out in the cold despite returning to full fitness.
Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has been named in Swansea City's starting XI in Carlos Carvalhal’s first team selection as coach of the Welsh outfit.
